New Delhi has been suffering from a fashion fever this month. Fashion Design Council of India’s India Couture Week 2018 which took place from July 25th till July 29th at Taj Palace, Delhi has been the talk of the town this month. The Five-day event has created a sensation in the fashion world.
While we all talk about weddings and lehengas, these ten styling gurus have created more panic attacks for the brides rather than peaceful choices. Each one of them have exceeded the level of crafts and skills. Their presentations in different dimensions were absolutely mind-boggling.
Amit Aggarwal, Rohit Bal, Anju Modi, Reynu Taandon, Tarun Tahiliani, Shyamal and Bhumika, Shane and Falguni Peacock, Rahul Mishra, Pallavi Jaikishan and Sumeet Varma have given a run for the money for sure this time!
After months of hard work, these 10 designers have unveiled their work in an unique style not just with their embroideries and crafts but also with gobsmacking set designs. Amit Aggarwal brought the theme “Crystalis” with special design 3D set that also reflected in his artistic work on models and on his showstopper Shilpa Shetty.
When we talk about embroideries and drapes it could be none other than king of drapes Tarun Tahiliani who stunned the crowd with the Hyderabad Padmaavat actress Aditi Rao Hydari as a show stopper walking down the ramp with long train Semi-sheer off shoulder Lengha that enhanced the neckline and shoulder blade which was gently covered with the touch of cape styled dupatta which was praised for elegance in its heights.
Let us not forget the most talked about Bollywood mother Kareena Kapoor who walked down the ramp for the duo designer Shane and Falguni Peacock titled “Amour De Junagarh” feather and Swarovski encrusted Gowns accompanied with Rajasthani Style Jewels.
Well, this didn’t leave Suneet Varma to put up less than a spectacular showcase shined with sparkles and mirrors reflecting the inner beauty of confidence and exterior beauty of sophistication.
At last, it was all the bride’s prayers heard by God for this wedding season as they could all finally walk around and carry their lehengas around in peace this wedding season because they are all lightly weighed wedding collections. Hallelujah!!!
