Disney announced that one of its most recognised names in entertainment history , 20th Century Fox is no more. The company revealed that it will be rebranding 20th Century Fox Television, as 20th Television as they have dropped both the “Century” and the “Fox” from the studio’s name.
This decision was made in January as Disney dropped the Fox name from its 20th Century Fox film brand. While the company made a $71 billion deal to acquire many of Fox’s assets last year, it renamed the longtime studio as just 20th Century Studios.
The new logo and graphics will be seen on the arrival of new episodes of the 20th television tv series . While , the older shows will carry the former logo.
Since, Disney has nothing to do with Fox such as Fox Entertainment, Foz sports and Fox News can be confusing for the consumers so it makes sense that Disney cuts off Fox from all its studios.
Disney television studios president, Craig Hunegs said in a statement, “Our new studio names and logos mark a new day for ABC Signature, 20th Television and Touchstone Television while honoring their rich histories and the creative power of The Walt Disney Company,”
The studio owns some popular and beloved films in the Hollywood industry like “Star Wars,” “The Sound of Music,” “Die Hard” and “Home Alone.”
