Later, the video’s count for the video’s first 24 hours was actually 101.1 million, YouTube on Sunday clarified. This was the goal the BTS’s extraordinarily passionate fanbase (aka BTS Army) had been hoping to achieve.
Youtube confired to VVreity on email , “We can confirm that BTS Dynamite Official MV set a new all-time 24hr record, surpassing 100 million views with 101.1 million views in the first 24 hours. It further said, “The video also notched a record for most-viewed YouTube Premiere with more than 3 million live concurrent viewers.”
YouTube has changed its methods for YouTube Music Charts in September 2019.It no longer counts paid advertising views in 24-hour counts, which it said was to best reflect authentic fan engagement.
In april 2019, BTS had held 24-hour views record several times for the video Boy With Luv featuring Halsey.
