A gunman seized a bus in Ukraine on Tuesday and demanded to watch 2005 animal rights documentary Earthlings, narrated by Joaquin Phoenix. He also asked dozens of government officials to admit to being ‘terrorists. He was holding an automatic rifle and wearing a beret.

The president wrote in a facebook post that everyone should watch the film Earthlings from 2005. Later the gunmen surrendered and the video was replaced with a note thanking police and others who helped end the hostage crisis. He added,’Human life is the most important value. We have not lost anyone.’
