Panic attacks lead to sudden, intense surges of fear, panic, or anxiety. Many people have the difficulty breathing, sweat profusely, tremble, and feel their hearts pounding.They are fearful but one can try these strategies to overcome these.
1- Deep breathing
One should practise deep breathing as it reduces the symptoms of panic during an attack. One should focus on breathing deeply , filling the air slowly, filling your chest and belly and then slowly leave them again.
2- Know the symptoms
One should note the symptoms that they feel while getting panic attacks so that you can remind yourself that this is temporary, it will pass, and that you’re OK. And one must not feel the fear due to it.
3- Close eyes
If you happen to be situated in a fast paced environment then you must close your eyes to get away from that noisy and siturbed place visually.
One must learn mindfulness to get a feeling of detachment or separation from reality, this can combat your panic attack as it’s approaching or actually happening.
5- Keep focus
A person should look for an object and just put its entire focus on it. Many find it helpful to find a single object to focus all of their attention on during a panic attack.
