This park is Europe’s first International Dark Sky Reserve . This place has 3,000 stars visible, on the days of the clearest nights. March and April witness the darkest skies in the UK. Some also have a good chance of seeing meteors.
5- Mont-Megantic International Day Sky Reserve, Canada
This place was designated with Silver tier status in 2007.It is the first International Dark Sky Reserve. Thousands of visitors each year witness the Milky Way, planets, shooting stars, satellites, Andromeda Galaxy and sometimes Northern Lights.
6- International Dark Sky Parks
This is one of the most famous Dark Sky Parks as it witnesses the footfall of more than 5 million visitors annually to celebrate the free event for amateur astronomers across the US that offer nightly astronomy programs and telescope viewing.
